I’m doing another parody that could use some other voices. 🙂 This is meant to be a feminist rallying cry for more representation and women behind the scenes in gaming and well… everywhere.

How do you contribute? Put on some headphones, queue up your favorite audio recording software, and record yourself singing along with me. Then email the file to wctrolls@gmail.com

Feel free to sing the whole thing, or just the chorus, which I’ve bolded. Men are welcome to contribute! Feminism isn’t just for the ladies. 😀

Warlords of Draenor Song

So I want to do a parody of “Girl Worth Fighting For”, replacing it with “Warlords of Draenor”.

There are four major parts:

Yao

Ling

Chen-Po

and Mulan

I will be playing the part of Ling. As roles are taken I’ll cross them off.

There’s also “Soldiers” which are the chorus. I need as many voices for this part as possible. So if you don’t want a featured part, just record the soldier parts.

Here are the lyrics:

Soldiers: ♪For a long time, we’ve been raiding siege for heirlooms.♪

Yao: ♪And in a long dry spell, people like to say that WoW is doomed.♪

Soldiers: ♪With no new content, how our sub is spent ain’t easy to ignore.♪

Ling: Hey!

♪Think of instead, Warlords of Draenor~!.♪

Mulan: Huh?

Ling: ♪That’s what I said, Warlords of Draenor~!.♪

Ling: ♪I want raids that last for days, with amazing epic loots.♪

Yao: ♪My class will be the best, with mechanics I can juke.♪

Chen-Po: ♪I couldn’t care less what we’ll raid or what my class does. It all depends on what the lore was. Orcs, Draenei, savage. (Mmm!)♪

 

Yao: ♪Bet the garrisons will make me quite the farmer.♪

Ling: ♪And I can’t wait till the stats switch on our armor.♪

Soldiers: ♪You can guess what we all want the most and what we’re looking toward.♪

Ling: ♪What do we want?♪

Soldiers: ♪Warlords of Draenor!♪

Yao: ♪My class will have no faults.♪

Chen Po: ♪The lore will all be fine!.♪

Mulan: Well,

♪How about we all take a breath… there’s always… some problem that you’ll find?♪

Others: Nah!

Ling: ♪My Raid lead skills and heroic kills are sure to thrill you.

Yao: ♪Bone carpet says they also kill you♪

Ling: Hey!

 

Ling: ♪I can’t wait to get a gearscore that’s been doubled.♪

Yao: ♪The item squish is gonna give ya trouble.♪

Soldiers: ♪And when we long on on release day because we pre ordered…♪

Ling: ♪What do we want?♪

Soldiers: ♪Warlords of Draenor!♪

Ling: ♪Wish that we had…♪

Soldiers: ♪Warlords of Draenor! (Whistles in tune) Warlords of Drae-nor  ♪♪
